Tennis facilities can be private, member-only clubs, tennis centers at resorts, public parks, municipal tennis centers, school and college tennis facilities and more.
Public and municipal facilities are open to all (some may charge a small fee), while other private centers are for members and their guests. See list with descriptions here.
Depending on the size and scope of the facility, lessons and clinics may be offered for players of various ages, and/or organized team and league play may take place. Players also can play singles and doubles on their own. Again, depending on size, opportunities may exist for tennis teaching professionals, court maintenance personnel, front desk personnel, sales and marketing, web development and IT, managers, owners and more.
