The many organizations and associations in tennis deal with various aspects of the game. One of the largest administrative organizations in the game is the nonprofit U.S. Tennis Association, which has a national office and 17 regional (section) divisions and deals with promoting both professional and recreational tennis. Other groups include organizations for tennis teaching professionals, groups for the men’s and women’s professional tennis tours, associations for high school and college coaches, sports club and fitness club associations, groups for public parks, local Community Tennis Associations, National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) organizations and more. Positions within these organizations include everything from administrative assistants, to personnel and human resources, customer and member services, information technology and web development, communications and p.r., sales and marketing, media planners, financial and accounting, legal, executives, volunteers, mentors and more.
